The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK´s National Metrology Institute (NMI), developing and maintaining the national primary measurement standards, as well as collaborating with other NMIs to maintain the international system of measurement. As a UK public sector research establishment, we deliver extraordinary impact by providing the measurement capability that underpins the UK's prosperity and quality of life. We develop the metrology required to ensure the timely and successful deployment of new technologies and work with organisations as they develop and test new products and processes. In this digital age, our world-leading measurement science provides confidence in data, which enables innovation and international trade to flourish. We align our capabilities with the most important challenges like energy, health, security, and net zero. Manufacturers around the world need to be confident in the quality of two-dimensional (2D) materials they receive, as any variations from suppliers or between batches can affect the structural, chemical and electrical properties of the final product. Our work is giving customers the confidence to drive forward this emerging industry. Suppliers need independent and impartial experts to advise them, provide certainty in the use of these materials and, ultimately, accelerate their adoption in industry. We are recognised leaders in the measurement of 2D and other nanomaterials, with unparalleled in-house expertise.

Incubation Alliance is a graphene venture company founded by the CEO Kazuo Muramatsu in 2007 and is based in Kobe, Japan. Since its establishment, we have developed graphene mass production methods using proprietary processes and developed products such as Graphene Flower® which has unique structure, highly oriented graphene block Graphene Flower® BL and graphene-coated carbon fiber cloth Graphene Flower® Cloth. These products have practical applications as heat dissipation components, motor brushes, materials for various types of electrodes and materials for neutron intensification.? We have more than 50 worldwide patents for our developed technologies and products. We are also actively developing alliance with partners in each field based on these proprietary technology.
We attended Graphene conferences consecutively from Graphene2011 to 2016 and participated at the exhibition. We have decided to participate in Graphene2023 after a long time since we have obtained research results in the development of graphene high-intensity neutron material, a project in collaboration with the Japan Atomic Energy Agency and Japan’s largest comprehensive research institute RIKEN. We will make a presentation and participate in the exhibition.
